Time to remove those extensions

I wanted to start the new year with little to no extensions in my dreads, have had them in for three years now! It was a bit confronting at first , but I had trimmed them bit by bit over the past 18 months . So now I have Approx. 90 % my own length. I felt very strange for two – three days after I cut them, I know it look like heaps of hair but in this first pic but really its extensions anyway . I have combed out a bit of length and then re dreaded it up neatly.
