Dreadie Love -The Fairy Queen of Dreadlocks meets the Tribal Queen!

Hello ,beautiful people

I wanted to share my own Maintenance experience with you .

As some of you know I had shoulder surgery this year.

The back story-

Ive suffered for many years with bursitis, tendinitis and arthritis in my shoulder, I have Been able to get some relief due to recent surgery, however still not at point where I can maintain my own dreads comfortably.

So this month after not being able to do any maintenance apart from root rolling since February 2019 , I met with a very talented colleague of mine after being Facebook friends for many years. I’ve never had anyone else do my maintenance ever!

But my poor dreadletts even though they weren’t too bad ,I felt they needed some love and care, so I had the honour of having a skilled and knowledgeable dread tech do my maintenance .

Much like my own The Dreadshed Dreadlocks Australia, training the beautiful Rae-Ann doesn’t use wax or other methods apart from a crochet hook.

They feel amazing a week as passed the discomfort has gone, tight dreads are good dreads for my preference , so my dear loyal clients I’m telling you the truth when I say I feel your pain!

I’m not ashamed or jealous by that fact that I’ve sort out a colleague to help keep my dreads tip top when I can’t do the work! And maybe in the future because I want to have my own down time and feel pampered too!

My hope is for the industry to be more supportive and embracing for us all ,as Dreadlock Artists, and learn and grow together .Creating a strong and supportive network and bond.

Thank you Rae-Ann ( tribal spiral dreadlocks & funky threads)
